Sometimes it's not even a learning curve
The coin of programming is both knowing you have built up a wealth of knowledge over more than a decade of software development and forgetting a ;.
Before I launch into a long winded story ala recipes. Here's my advice for the following stack:
- astro
- strapi
- note: I specifically wanted to make sure I had cloud and local setups both separate and unified. However I didn't plan this so thats part of the blog article
- netlify
getting astro and tailwind going was easy. I made a new branch. pretty simple foreshadowing jojos
I've worked with strapi before but wanted to make sure I used their latest stack and free-est product. My initial plans have always been to self host but honestly I wanted to go as simple as possible and mimic more real world REST driven environments.
So I just went with strapi cloud. It was easy. It's currently free. I'm a little
but hey, free is free.
I got the instance up, it was late. Slept on it.
